这件釉里红云龙纹蒜头瓶口径：4cm 底径：8.6cm 高31cm， 是元代至正型的标准器，釉里红是从宋代钧窑的红釉窑变釉的红釉发展而来。创烧于元代制作工艺难度很高，材料与火稍有偏差，鲜艳的釉里红就难得一见。元代早期的釉里红颜色多数是浅红、褐红、灰暗。这件蒜头瓶的釉里红，呈色艳丽鲜红。十分难得。纹饰层次分明，通体龙纹祥云缠绕，龙头小、身躯长，形体为细脖、细腿、细爪和尖尾的，体态轻盈，曲躯蟠舞，给人一种“昂首举爪、遨游在天”的感觉，是元代龙纹特有的风格。龙纹属陶瓷器装饰的传统纹样之一，此器实属罕见。元代瓷器在陶瓷装饰历史上有着一个划时代意义。元釉里红的存世量稀少，它为釉下铜红彩绘，烧成难度大，特殊性强，因而有自身的装饰特色，极具收藏价值。
