此藏品为大明宣德年制霁蓝釉斗笠碗。广口，斜腹壁呈45角，小圈足，碗底足圈内青花书“大明宣德年制”。因倒置过来形似斗笠，故名斗笠碗，碗的一种式样宋代始烧，此后历代均有烧制。

其胎质细腻，釉色白中泛青，即所谓“亮青釉”。碗外壁及内底以青花绘制纹饰，其中碗心双圈内装饰螺旋状朵花纹，外壁胫部装饰仰莲，腹部主体满绘六朵缠枝莲花，花瓣饱满圆润，主枝缠绕往复，小片花叶点缀其间，搭配深浅变化的青花，使整个画面显示出丰富的层次感，繁密而

繁乱。除青花纹饰外，这件瓷器的另一妙处在于其内壁还装饰有模印缠枝花卉纹，其花叶与外壁又有不同，纹饰更为纤细，更富动态变化，于釉下若隐若现，颇具空灵之美。将碗对准光线，可见内壁模印花卉与外壁青花花卉相互映衬，非常巧妙。而碗底圈内用青花书写的“大明宣德年制”六字双行楷书款，字体为标准的明代馆阁体。
