盖缸则是清朝时期的一种常见瓷器样式。典型器型特征为：器身直口，深腹下敛。圈足，圆盖，上有环形抓钮，子母口。文中展示的此只为清中期四喜盖缸。盖的口部与器身浑若一体，盖面较圆，使得器型总体呈现出一个柔和的弧度。器身为清代代表性的青花釉色，在纹饰背景上写了“囍”字，故而得名四喜盖缸。
