1931年9月18日，日军发动九一八事变，侵占我国东北地区。开始了局部的战争，是广义上的抗日战争的开始。1937年7月7日，日军在今天北京的卢沟桥发动七七事变，开始了全面抗战，于右任在这样的情况下写下了该诗词，饱含对中华存亡的担忧和开始神圣的抗日战争期盼。表达对祖国的热爱和对当时日寇侵华的愤慨。

On September 18, 1931, the Japanese army launched the September 18 incident and occupied northeast China. The beginning of a local war was the beginning of the war of resistance against Japan in a broad sense. Yu youren wrote the poem on July 7, 1937, in the context of the July 7 incident at the lugou bridge in Beijing today, when the Japanese army began its all-out war of resistance against Japan. He expressed his love for his motherland and his indignation against the Japanese aggressors.

于右任（1879-1964）汉族，陕西三原人，祖籍泾阳，名伯循，字右任，国民党的元老，国际著名书法大师、著名的报刊活动家、教育家。与好友刘觉民等人先后创办复旦公学和中国公学，筹办《神州日报》、《民呼日报》、《民立报》，以宣传资产阶级革命主张。中华民国临时政府成立后，出任交通次长，主持部务。后出任陕西靖国军总司令以反对袁世凯。1922年创办上海大学，倡导国共合作。1926年与冯玉祥、刘觉民等人一道率国民军联军解救西安之围，出任驻陕总司令，放手起用共产党人和国民党左派人士。后来担任国民政府监察院长。抗战期间，仍公开支持国共两党再次合作。晚年在台湾仍渴望祖国统一。善长诗词书法，所创标准草书深受海内外学人欢迎。著有《于右任诗词集》、《标准草书千字书》等。

于右任精书法，早在20年代便有“北于南郑”之称，“南郑”指郑孝胥。尤擅草书，首创“标准草书”，被誉为“当代草圣”。于右任1932在上海创办标准草书社，以易识、易写、准确、美丽为原则，整理、研究与推广草书，整理成系统的草书代表符号，集字编成《标准草书千字文》（1936年由上海文正楷印书局初版），影响深远，至今仍在重印。有“近代书圣”之誉。

该藏品为手稿，是一幅爱国诗词，极具收藏价值，研究价值。

Yu youren (1879-1964), han nationality, three original people in shaanxi province, ancestral home jingyang, name boxun, word youren, the founder of the kuomintang, internationally famous calligraphy master, famous newspaper activist, educator. He and his good friend liu juemin founded fudan public school and China public school successively, and organized shenzhou daily, minhu daily and minli daily to publicize the revolutionary ideas of the bourgeoisie. After the establishment of the provisional government of the republic of China, he served as the deputy minister of transportation and presided over the ministry. Later served as commander in chief of the shaanxi war against yuan shikai. 1922 Shanghai university was founded, advocating cooperation between kuomintang and communist party. In 1926, together with feng yuxiang, liu juemin and others, he led the allied forces of the national army to rescue the siege of xi 'an and served as the commander-in-chief in shaanxi. He later served as inspector general of the national government. During the war of resistance against Japanese aggression, they still openly supported the kuomintang and the communist party to cooperate again. In his later years, Taiwan still yearns for the reunification of the motherland. Good at poetry and calligraphy, the standard cursive is well received by scholars at home and abroad. He is the author of yu youren poetry collection, standard cursive thousand character book, etc.

Yu youren fine calligraphy, as early as in the 1920s, known as "north zheng", "south zheng" refers to zheng xiaoxu. Especially good at cursive, the first "standard cursive", known as the "modern sage of grass." Yu youren founded the standard cursive book society in Shanghai in 1932. Based on the principles of easy recognition, easy writing, accuracy and beauty, he organized, studied and popularized cursive script, and compiled it into a systematic representative symbol of cursive script. He compiled the characters into standard cursive thousand characters (first published by Shanghai standard cursive printing press in 1936). It has the reputation of "saint of modern books".
