此枚钱币为广东省造光绪元宝，直径27.98mm，重约7.35g，为错版币。正面清晰可见满汉文“光绪元宝”四字，上铸省份，下铸面值，背面为神龙图案，环绕英文介绍，但龙纹位置倾斜45度，偏移面积很大，虽为错版，但显得炯炯有神；龙须飘逸，龙纹深峻，威武霸气；此币由于当时的铸作工艺出现偏差，一跃成为错版币，有着相当不错的艺术价值。
