越窑是中国古代最为著名的青瓷窑系，其釉色类玉、类冰，造型精美，器物众多。越窑的发展历史，可以追溯到商周时期的原始瓷生产，东汉时，越窑烧造出成熟的青瓷，嗣后，经历了三国、两晋、南北朝的大发展时期，隋、唐、五代的全盛期，至北宋中期渐趋衰落。

东汉越窑东汉是越窑青瓷的初创时期，青瓷的烧制成功是浙江地区原始瓷的工艺发展和技术积累的必然结果。这一时期的青瓷产品在成型、烧制工艺上与原始瓷一脉相承，处处彰显着古拙与朴实。

三国时期的越窑产品，胎质坚致细密，胎骨多为淡灰色，釉层均匀，釉汁洁净，早期纹饰简朴，纹样有水波纹、弦纹、叶脉纹。晚期装饰趋向繁复，出现斜方格纹，还出现了堆塑方法，器物可分为日用品和明器。非常具有收藏价值。
