此枚藏品为中华民国十八年双帆孙小头，系民国十八年上海中央造币厂所铸。整币通体为雪花银铸造，正面上端铸有“中华民国十八年”字样，下端为孙中山侧面像，此币文字清晰，图案精美，头像生动传神，铸造技术非常精湛，而且这枚藏品保存较好，其色泽自然，虽稍有锈迹却无碍其品相，反而更显自然细腻，图文深浅合适。币中孙中山头像栩栩如生。设计新颖，铸工精湛；具有极高的收藏价值和艺术价值！

1929年，时值国民党政府推行所谓“法币”政策，以中央、中国、交通三大银行发行的纸币为法定货币，白银收归国有，限期以法币兑换银币，银圆已不成合法通货。故此十八年孙中山像三帆银币铸成之后，并未流通于市，存世量之少可想而知。
