这枚“袁大头”，属中华民国三年袁世凯像嘉禾壹圆银币L.GIORGI签字版，银币正面镌大总统袁世凯五分脸侧面像，肖像上端环镌发行年号“中华民国三年”，右侧边缘镌有银币设计者意大利雕版师鲁尔治·乔治的拉丁文签名L.GIORGI。背面中央镌币值“壹圆”二字，托以嘉禾二本，左右交互，下系结带。即使已是“百年高龄”，仍旧保存完好。其色泽光鲜自然，纹饰深浅适度，边缘线条粗细均匀，间距也疏密一致，乃“袁大头”银元之精品。
