此枚宣统元宝是清朝末帝宣统的年号银圆,为前清之正式国币。1910年(宣统二年,云南的地亚士洋行购买的铸币机器辗转运到昆明后,便开铸了该样币。该币正面点圈内为汉文和满文宣统元宝”字样,两旁饰花饰,下镌币值“库平一两”。背面龙居中,外围为英文,两旁列花饰。该币因属地方私铸钱币,铸工精细,为中国银币二十珍之一。云南省造币总厂于 1910 年也铸造了极少量宣统庚戌年春季库平一两银币,旋因革命活动蔓延而停止生产。翌年(1911,武昌革命成功推翻满清皇朝。该银币通行于市的时间极短,所以数量极为稀少。至今,它被认为是中国钱币史上最重要的文物之一,蕴含着极其重要的文化和历史意义。世界顶尖的收藏家都未曾拥有过它,中外众多重要博物馆也未能收藏这枚钱币。该钱币本身字体清晰,模印清楚,包浆浑厚自然,保存的非常完整。及具历史意义和收藏价值。

This Xuantong Yuanbao is the silver dollar of Xuantong, the emperor of the late Qing Dynasty. It is the official national currency of the former Qing Dynasty. In 1910 (the second year of Xuantong, the minting machine purchased by dayas foreign bank in Yunnan was transferred to Kunming, and then the sample coin was minted. On the obverse of the coin, there are Chinese and Manchu Xuantong Yuanbao in the dot circle, with flower ornaments on both sides and the value of Kuping one or two under it. The back of the dragon house is in Chinese and the outer part is in English, with flower decorations on both sides. The coin is one of the 20 treasures of Chinese silver coins because of its fine craftsmanship. In 1910, Yunnan Mint also struck a very small number of Kuping silver coins in spring of the year of Xuantong and gengxu, which was stopped due to the spread of revolutionary activities. The following year (1911), Wuchang revolution succeeded in overthrowing the Manchu Dynasty. The silver coin has been in the market for a very short time, so the quantity is extremely rare. Up to now, it is regarded as one of the most important cultural relics in the history of Chinese coins, which contains extremely important cultural and historical significance. None of the world's top collectors has ever owned it, nor have many important museums at home and abroad. The coin itself is clear in font, clear in die printing, thick and natural in covering and well preserved. And has historical significance and collection value.
