范曾(1938.7.5),字十翼,别署抱冲斋主,江苏南通人,中国当代大儒、思想家、国学大师、书画巨匠、文学家、诗人。[1] 现为北京大学中国画法研究院院长、讲席教授,中国艺术研究院终身研究员,南开大学、南通大学惟一终身教授,联合国教科文组织“多元文化特别顾问”,英国格拉斯哥大学名誉文学博士,加拿大阿尔伯塔大学荣誉文学博士。 [2] 是当代中国集诗书画、文史哲、儒释道于一身的文化大家,平生著作等身,已出版一百六十余种诗、书画、哲学之著述,国家图书馆珍藏其中119种。 是当代中国集诗书画、文史哲、儒释道于一身的文化大家,他提倡“回归古典、回归自然”,身体力行“以诗为魂、以书为骨”的美学原则,对中国画的发展厥功至钜,开创了“新古典主义”艺术的先河。2011年,时年73岁的范曾首次登上“胡润艺术榜”榜首,其作品2010年公开拍卖总成交达到3.9亿元人民币。据数据显示,截至目前,范曾拍卖价过千万的作品共有16幅之多。

Fan Zeng (1938.7.5), with ten wings, was born in Nantong, Jiangsu Province. He is a great scholar, thinker, sinologist, painter, litterateur and poet. [1] now he is the president and Chair Professor of the Chinese Academy of painting, Peking University, lifelong researcher of the Chinese Academy of art, the only lifelong professor of Nankai University and Nantong University, the "special adviser for multiculturalism" of UNESCO, the honorary doctor of literature of the University of Glasgow in the UK, and the honorary doctor of literature of the University of Alberta in Canada. [2] he is a cultural master of poetry, calligraphy, painting, literature, history, philosophy, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism in contemporary China. He has published more than 160 kinds of poetry, calligraphy, painting and philosophy works, of which 119 are collected by the National Library. He is a cultural master who integrates poetry, calligraphy, painting, literature, history, philosophy, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism in contemporary China. He advocates the aesthetic principle of "returning to classicality and nature" and practices the aesthetic principle of "taking poetry as the soul and book as the bone". He has made great contributions to the development of Chinese painting and created the precedent of "neoclassicism" art. In 2011, the 73-year-old Fan once topped the Hurun Art List for the first time. The total sales of his works at public auction in 2010 amounted to 390 million yuan. According to the data, up to now, there are as many as 16 works with an auction price of more than 10 million.

 

范曾提倡“回归古典、回归自然”,身体力行“以诗为魂、以书为骨”的美学原则,对中国画的发展厥功至钜,开创了“新古典主义”艺术的先河。1984年,日本冈山范曾美术馆建立;1986年,捐建并主持南开大学东方艺术系;2008年,南通大学范曾艺术馆揭牌;2011年,荣获中华艺文奖终身成就奖。有二十四字自评:痴于绘画,能书;偶为辞章,颇抒己怀;好读书史,略通古今之变。

Fan Zeng advocated "returning to classicality and nature" and practiced the aesthetic principle of "taking poetry as the soul and book as the bone". He made great contribution to the development of Chinese painting and created the forerunner of "neoclassicism" art. In 1984, Fanzeng art museum was established in Okayama, Japan; in 1986, he donated and presided over the Department of Oriental Art of Nankai University; in 2008, Fanzeng Art Museum of Nantong University was opened; in 2011, he won the lifetime achievement award of Chinese art and literature award. There are twenty-four words of self-evaluation: infatuated with painting, able to read; occasionally as a dictionary, quite express their feelings; good history of reading, slightly through the changes of ancient and modern times.

 

 

 

此幅八仙图画面风格清新俊朗,构图新颖,数尺之内展现出广阔的空间,显示出大师的风范。八仙在山石之上、清泉之间悠然论道,三组人物或静或动,相互生发,分而不散。背后古松蜿蜒伸展聆听其间,背景山石中隐现瀑布飞流直下,画面留白,表现出云雾朦胧,衬托出了主体人物。人物画法是范先生的典型风格,以线为主,略加晕染,表情生动祥和。山石用墨明显加重,与人物拉开距离,以突出山石的厚重感,而画树介于二者之间。骨法用笔,笔出惊人,而无剑拔弩张之气,用墨随笔而上,淡处如薄雾,浓处如双眸,笔墨洒脱,痛快淋漓,展现出“无过此者乎”的功力。所透露出的清脱高华,也非一般画家所能仿佛。

This picture of eight immortals is fresh and handsome in style and novel in composition. It shows a vast space within a few feet and shows the style of a master. The eight immortals talk about Tao leisurely on the rocks and between the springs. The three groups of figures are static or dynamic. They grow and develop each other, but they don't separate. In the background, the waterfall flows straight down, the picture is left blank, showing the misty clouds and the main characters. The figure painting is a typical style of Mr. Fan. It is mainly composed of lines, slightly tinged with halo, with vivid and peaceful expression. The use of ink on mountains and stones has increased significantly, and the distance between them and the characters has been widened to highlight the massiness of mountains and stones, while the painting of trees is between them. The bone technique uses a pen, and the pen is amazing, but there is no Qi of drawing a crossbow with a sword. The light part is like mist, the thick part is like eyes, and the pen and ink are free and easy, full of pain and vividness, which shows the ability of "no one who has gone beyond this". The Qing Dynasty and Gao Hua revealed are not what ordinary painters can imagine.

 

 

画上的书法用笔,不倚不因,劈空而来的气势犹如直取高山坠石,笔出惊人而无剑拔弩张之嫌。如锥画沙,不流于轻浮,如屋漏痕,沉雄而含蓄。中锋兼用侧锋,重若坠石,轻若兜罗,刚柔相济。其用墨皆随笔而上,淡处如薄雾,浓处如双眸炯秀。整幅画面笔力深厚,运斫成风,勾勒之际如云之出岫,墨酣笔畅,无妄生之圭角,无矫饰之情趣,酣畅洒脱的线条,苍劲飘逸的法度,儒雅古拙的意境,真可谓气势恢宏,风骨独具,值得收藏、赏玩。

The calligraphy brush on the painting is impartial. The momentum of splitting the air is like taking a high mountain and dropping a stone. The pen is amazing without the suspicion of drawing a sword or drawing a crossbow. Like a cone, like a sand, not flowing in frivolity, like a leak in a house, like a sink, but implicit. There's no affectation interest. The lines are smooth and free. The strong and elegant method and the elegant and ancient artistic conception are really magnificent and unique.
