       汉代时期(公元前206－公元前220年），制陶手工业在汉代得到很大发展，主要表现为泥料的选择和配置越发的精细。无论是饮食器具还是储藏类巨型用具都比较精细。器具上或刻或划，或施彩或施釉，汉代大部分使用都是陶器，做工精细复杂，以后历史时代使用的陶器很少能与汉代相比。陶器是国家珍藏，同样也是瓷器的鼻祖。中国的所有瓷器都是在陶器的基础上发展起来的，所以陶器有“瓷器之母”和“瓷器鼻祖”之称。

此两件藏品为汉代青釉陶罐。敞口，直领，溜肩，弧腹，平底。其为出土藏品，出土时均成青色，追溯历史距今已有2000多年历史矣。属于青釉陶后受空气氧化作用，颜色消失不见。可见年代久矣。同时一大一小，也称为一龙一凤。而从古至今龙和凤代表着吉祥如意，龙凤一起使用多表示喜庆之事，意旨龙凤呈祥，吉祥物也。像这样外观精美、埋藏久远、又保存如此完好的青釉陶罐，在出土文物中非常罕见。对研究汉代历史和当时社会风俗具体重大意义，同时具有极高收藏价值。
