汪野亭(1884—1942),名平,字鉴,号平山、平生、老平、垂钓子,亦号传芳居士,平山草堂主人,斋名平山草堂,江西省乐平县人,近现代著名绘瓷艺家。为瓷都景德镇20世纪20年代形成的珠山八友大师之一,工画花鸟、山水。在绘瓷技法上,采用油料,以水粉敷色,作品别具一格。汪野亭是20世纪前期景德镇陶瓷美术革故鼎新的著名陶瓷艺术家。他的山水画,一直为后人所仰重、仿效,足足影响了半个多世纪。他从艺30多年从未离开过景德镇,创作了许多代表那个时代的精美作品,受到了世界收藏.汪野亭山水画构图,以通景法为多。构思完整,布局讲究,画面多是翠峰烟云,路转溪桥,景点连接安排合理,意境别开生面,这种山水通景画法形式。因为通景画法的布局,要根据器型转折面的变化而变化,主景与配景的搭配穿插十分讲究,二是汪氏画山石多用折带皴,用线如折弯的带子,横折层叠构成水边岩石的特有结构,并且渗入斧劈皴的擦笔技巧,主次分明,皴、擦、点、染,形质俱佳,深浓浅淡,湿润华滋,具备石质的重量感。
