寿星公摆件器型硕大,在材料上为稀有的紫罗兰用料,整体雕法采用了圆难、透雕、深雕、浮雕与浅浮雕。双目炯炯有神,精神焕发,充满了慈祥、喜气之意;因用料紫罗兰,加之色泽匀正,似有紫气东来祥瑞之兆;用浅浮雕和细雕手法表达细丝长髯,寓意子孙如江河细流万古流长;寿星右手持龙首权仗,龙仗身用深雕技法雕刻出苍劲扎枝龙身造型,显得灵动非凡;仗首下端运用巧色、透雕和深雕技法,配以巧色葫芦与寿星袖内佩戴佛珠手钏饰,颇有仙人之风和禅纳之愿;寿星公服佈采用娴熟的深雕技法,衣袖褶敏显得飘逸生动。背面 精微细雕寿星公的发丝和发髻与整体服饰和谐显得端住稳重。寿星公摆件从龙首杖修饰手法到头部发髻发丝与服饰配搭上,都有别于清代以后雕琢形式 。依据看星公的整体型制及雕琢技法, 寿仙公摆件是明代器物。
