光绪元宝是清代光绪年间特有的一种货币。有着清朝货币特征，由于当时时局不稳定，因此几乎在全国的各个省都有专门的货币铸造厂。因此我们会发现那个时代的货币上都有鲜明的铸字，标明是哪个省的造币厂铸造的。江南省造甲辰每元当制钱十文，是江南省造光绪元宝中种镌有干支纪年的铜币。乃至今遗存极罕的一枚原光精铸钱币，十分难得。

江南省造光绪元宝系指清代光绪二十三年至三十一年(1897到1905年)由南京造币厂铸造的“光绪元宝”系列铜币，系清代正式铸行的法定流通铜币。但铸行江南省造银币的清末，已无江南省建制。江南省设于清朝顺治二年(1645年)，省府位于江宁(今南京)。清代的江南省前身是明朝的南直隶江南省，范围大致相当于今天的江苏省、常州市和安徽省。康熙六年(1667年)清廷撤江南省，分设江苏和安徽两个省。南京造币厂将其铸造的铜币标明“江南省造”，是因为当时苏州已经有一个专铸机制铜元的造币厂，其铸造的铜元均标明“江苏省造”。为避免混淆，南京造币厂将其铸造的银币标明“江南省造”。系我国货币史上有名无实的省份铜币。

Guangxu Yuanbao made in jiangnan province refers to the "Guangxu Yuanbao" series of copper coins cast by the Nanjing Mint from the 23rd to 31st year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1897 to 1905). It is a legal circulating copper coin officially cast in the Qing Dynasty. However, in the late Qing Dynasty, when jiangnan province made silver coins, there was no jiangnan province system. Jiangnan province was established in 1645, the second year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty, and the provincial capital was located in Jiangning (now Nanjing). The predecessor of jiangnan province in Qing Dynasty was jiangnan province of Nanzhili Province in Ming Dynasty, which was roughly equivalent to Jiangsu Province, Changzhou City and Anhui Province today. In the sixth year of Kangxi's reign (1667), the Qing government withdrew from jiangnan province and divided it into Jiangsu and Anhui provinces. The Nanjing Mint marked its copper coins as "Made in jiangnan province" because Suzhou already had a minting factory that specialized in making machine-made copper coins at that time. All the copper coins it cast were marked "Made in Jiangsu Province". To avoid confusion, the Nanjing Mint marked its silver coins as "Made in jiangnan province". It is a famous copper coin in China's monetary history.

光绪元宝江南省造甲辰每元当制钱十文 ：正面中间是“光绪元宝”中心有两个满文，上方铭文为“江南省造”，下方为“每元当制钱十文”，在“江南省造”的两边，右“甲”左“辰”是记年。中间的珠圈由99个小点组成。背面，中间是一条飞龙，上方为英文，左右各一个玫瑰花饰，中间的珠圈由小点组成。此枚光绪元宝江南省造甲辰每元当制钱十文下方缘英文面值，品相佳，包浆明显。甚是罕见，值得珍藏。

Guangxu Yuanbao jiangnan province made ten coins for each dollar: in the middle of the front is the center of "Guangxu Yuanbao" with two Manchu characters, with the inscription "Made in jiangnan province" above and "Ten coins for each dollar" below. On both sides of "Made in jiangnan province", the right "A" and the left "Chen" mark the year. The middle bead ring consists of 99 dots. On the back, there is a dragon in the middle, English on the top, roses on the left and right, and beads in the middle are made up of dots. This gold piece of Guangxu Yuanbao, made in jiangnan province, has a nominal English value of 10 cents per dollar. It is of good quality and has obvious paste. It is very rare and worth collecting.

正面甲字双开口，就是“甲”字的第一笔和第二笔不相连，有一个较大的开口。“甲”字的口中一横比较短，不和口字的两边相连，也称开口。“辰”字的一捺，由细到粗，顺畅到底。

The double opening of the front A character means that the first and second strokes of A character are not connected and have a larger opening. The "A" character has a relatively short cross in its mouth, which is not connected to the two sides of the character. It is also called an opening. When the word "Chen" is pressed down, it moves smoothly from fine to coarse.

背面珠圈由109个小点组成,中心细长七尾飞龙,龙尾后面有圆形云彩。这是一个新设计的背面，龙也是一条新设计的龙。
