龙凤珐琅熏香筒是清代皇家自用瓷器中最珍贵的一种，创造于清康熙年间，发展于雍正时期，在乾隆早期得到了延续。

乾隆早期的龙凤珐琅熏香筒仍延续前两代在宫中制造，在清宫统计中，其数量较之前两朝有增无减。其造型更是丰富，增添了许多其它题材，色地也富于变化，画彩多由专攻画家承担；等等，始终保持了一贯正统的宫廷艺术风格。

据清宫档案记载，乾隆十分重视珐珐琅熏香筒的妥善保管，对每件珐琅彩瓷器均配用楠木匣贮藏于乾清宫珐琅瓷的专库内，以此可见珐琅彩的珍贵从古就有。它的珍贵在于康熙帝为了研制它把作坊设于皇宫；雍正帝为了它研制自用料，并对素胎严格要求，每件珐琅彩瓷，从器型、绘画到成品都亲自把关；乾隆帝为了保护它，特设单独专库，每件配用楠木，其画彩更采用了各专攻画家等等。还有珐琅彩瓷到乾隆中后期的制作水平越来越糙，以至到后来清宫没再烧造此类瓷器，它的烧造年代不长，保管又在清宫，流落民间数量有限，这也是当今此类瓷器拍卖市场价一再创新高的原因。

This shows that the preciousness of enamel has existed since ancient times. . Its preciousness lies in the fact that Emperor Kangxi set up his workshop in the imperial palace to develop it; Emperor Yongzheng developed his own materials for it, and imposed strict requirements on raw materials. Every piece of enamel porcelain, from vessel shape, painting to finished product, was personally checked; Emperor Qianlong In order to protect it, a separate special library is specially set up, each piece is equipped with nanmu, and its painting color uses various specializing painters and so on. In addition, the production level of enamel colored porcelain in the middle and late Qianlong period became more and more rough, and until the Qing Palace did not burn this kind of porcelain again, its firing age was not long, and it was kept in the Qing Palace, and the number of people living in it was limited. The reason why the auction market price of this type of porcelain has repeatedly hit new highs.
