The five baht is a kind of ancient Chinese copper coin, which also USES weight as the unit of currency. It has exerted a profound influence on the development history of Chinese currency for five thousand years. It was first cast in the fifth year of the Reign of Emperor Wudi of the Han Dynasty (118 BC). It was cast in the Eastern Han, Shu Han, Wei, Jin, Southern Qi, Liang, Chen, Northern Wei and Sui, and was of different weights and sizes.

The tang Dynasty wu DE four years (AD 621) annulled. But the old five baht is still circulating in the private sector. The five baht laid the foundation for the Chinese hard currency coin's round square hole tradition. This small copper coin is round in the outside and square in the inside, symbolizing heaven and earth. Cast "five baht" in seal characters below. The "baht" is an ancient unit of weight, one twenty-fourth of one to one baht, so the so-called "five baht" is actually very light.

This five-baht coin is a round copper coin with square hole. The shape of the coin is outward to the sky. In the late Warring States Period, copper coin was one of the treasures, symbolizing wealth and warding off evil spirits. Although the collection has gone through endless years, the lines are still clearly visible, and the rust on them is also a witness to its historical accumulation. It is characterized by a very obvious historical transition and has an indescribable collection value.
