【藏品简介】：银锭，中国古代货币，即熔铸成锭的白银。重量不等，因此以“两”为主要重量单位，故又称银两。始自汉代，其后各代皆有铸造，但流通不广。银锭至明代盛行，但不是国家法定银锭货币。直至清朝，开始作为主要货币流通。清代是中国银锭铸造和发展的鼎盛时期，由于地域不同，铸造工艺流程不同，各地银锭的器型各异、形式多样、名称繁多，深受银锭集藏者喜爱。银锭具有较高的保值功能，近几年价格暴涨，清代最小的银锭也价值不菲。
