此银币正面有太极八卦图案纹饰，中心光绪元宝四个字，外围是山东官银和庚子年造。光绪年号始于1875年,即夏历乙亥年;庚子年是1900年,也就是光绪二十六年。背面是中文和满文的一两字样，外围是龙纹。
