顺治通宝日月花钱，正面是由楷书书写的顺治通宝，其背面“日月双猴纹”。清世祖福临在位十八年 ,在这十八年当中，共有两个“猴年”，一是顺治元年（甲申年1644）， 二是顺治十三年（丙申年1656）。又因为甲申年是顺治皇登基的大喜的日子，采用了“日月双辉照猴年”这一无文吉祥语、祝福语，是恰如其分的。在“日月双辉照猴年”的光辉照耀下，使得大清帝国旗开得胜，能维持267年之久。我们还可从“日月”和“双猴”的设置上进行鉴赏，更感十分有趣。一是从“日月”纹方面，当人们从背面鉴赏时，经上下翻转两次，就会看出两种效果。 

铸造“顺冶通宝”其中花钱，无论是从铸造量还是流通存世量都是最为稀少。另外花钱在古代常有驱邪之用，在房屋建造时会放在房屋下或者屋顶，其意义巨大，极具收藏价值，历史价值。俗话说物以稀为贵，因此现在市场上能够见到的顺治通宝花钱价格一路飙升。
