今天给各位藏友带来这件藏品是 广东省造光绪元宝双龙寿字币库平七钱二，此枚钱币直径：39mm 重：19.71g，藏品来自于一位四川的牟女士，据持宝人牟女士讲解，此藏品是家传到自己手上，自己多年一直私自保存着，舍不得拿出来，这次希望通过平台给各位鉴赏。

Today, I brought this collection to you. It is a seven-dollar-two Coin Bank of Guangxu Yuanbao Shuanglongshou in Guangdong Province. The diameter of this coin is 39mm and weighs 19.71g. 光绪元宝为清代货币，光绪年间铸行金、银币较少。当时正值洋务运动时期，这股思潮也影响到了铸币业，两广总督张之洞曾于光绪十三年委托使英大臣在英国订购全套造币机器，并在广东钱局首铸机制银元。其后，各省纷纷仿效，购制国外机械铸造银币。包括广东钱局在内，许多造币机均订购自著名的英国伦敦伯明翰造币有限公司。

Guangxu Yuanbao was the currency of the Qing Dynasty. During the period of Guangxu, there were fewer gold and silver coins. At that time, during the Westernization Movement, this trend of thought also affected the minting industry. In the thirteenth year of Guangxu, Governor Zhang Zhidong of Guangzhou and Guangzhou commissioned the British minister to order a complete set of minting machines in Britain and first minted silver dollars in the Guangdong Money Bureau. Later, the provinces followed suit and purchased foreign machine-minted silver coins. Many coins, including the Guangdong Money Bureau, are ordered from the famous London Birmingham Mint Co., Ltd.

目前，在我国近代钱币中，有一种久负盛名的银币，它被列为中国近代机制币十大珍，也被人们千百年来的寻找与挖掘，这便是广东省造双龙寿字币。此枚银币为库平七钱二的版式，正面珠圈内铸有满、汉文“光绪元宝”四字，珠圈外上镌“广东省造”四字，下镌“库平七钱二分”六字，左右两侧分镌蝙蝠图案。背面珠圈内铸圆形“寿”字，珠圈外铸双龙戏珠图案。因蝙蝠的“蝠”字与幸福的“福”字同音，把蝙蝠图案铸在币面上，系取“蝠”、“福”两字谐音。将它与背面的“寿”字相对应取意，便构成“福寿双全”之意。

The front bead circle has four characters of Manchu and Chinese "Guangxu Yuanbao", four words of "made in Guangdong Province" on the outside of the bead circle, six words of "Kuping Qian 2" on the bottom, and bat patterns on the left and right sides. On the back of the bead ring, the word "longevity" is cast in a circle, and on the outside, the pattern of double dragon opera beads is cast. Because the word "bat" and the word "happiness" are homonymous, the bat pattern is coined on the coin, which is a homonym of the words "bat" and "happiness". It corresponds to the meaning of the word "longevity" on the back, which constitutes the meaning of "both happiness and longevity".

关于“广东双龙寿字币七钱二分银币的铸造，史料中没有确切记载，坊间有三种观点，一种观点认为：这种银币是光绪三十年1904年铸造，为纪念慈禧太后70大寿而铸。第二种观点认为是：光绪二十年1894年户部推行“一两本位”时广东造币厂为庆贺慈禧60大寿所铸之币。第三种观点：此币是1898年光绪权利到达巅峰之时而铸造，只是因为宫廷政变，光绪帝被慈禧投入监狱后此币才未能流通。以上三种观点都有不少拥护者。且不论哪一种观点是正确的，单从收藏价值来说，三种观点都说明了是为祝寿而铸造的“纪念币”，工艺精湛。且由于是限量发行，或未能正式流通，存世稀少。

 

 

There are three opinions about the casting of the seven-cent silver coin of the Guangdong Shuanglongshou coin. One is that the silver coin was coined in 1904 in Guangxu 30 years to commemorate the 70th birthday of Empress Dowager Cixi. The second view is that the Guangdong Mint coined coins to celebrate Cixi's 60th birthday in 1894 when the Ministry of Household Affairs carried out the "one or two standard". The third view is that the coin was minted when the power of Guangxu reached its peak in 1898. It was only because of the coup d'etat that Emperor Guangxu was thrown into prison by Cixi that the coin failed to circulate. There are many supporters of the above three views. Regardless of which viewpoint is correct, from the point of collecting value alone, the three viewpoints all indicate that "commemorative coins" are made for birthday celebration with exquisite craftsmanship. And because of limited issuance or failure to formally circulate, it is rare to survive.

此广东双龙寿字币七钱二分品相较好，字体清晰，形制规整，质地优良，字体笔法流畅，纹饰刻制工细，其色泽自然，不论是文字还是图案，都显得自然细腻，深浅合适。而广东省当时铸造此币的目的是奉献清廷以祝慈禧太后万寿，所以铸额不大，大多奉献给清廷或赠于当时的达官显贵，见于民间流通的很少，故更显珍贵。是家喻户晓的罕见银币珍品，收藏价值和升值空间都值得期待。
