民初四川铜币。币面正中“四川铜币”4字，中间为海棠花图案，上眉有“军政府造”字样，下部为币值，背面中间有个圈，圈内有篆阳文“汉”字，大圈外环18个小圈，象征独立的18行省，上部为“中华民国元年”字样，共当十、二十、五十3种。

  该币正面中央珠圈内有“四川铜币”四字，上下左右分列，其中心饰有芙蓉花纹。珠圈上缘书“军政府造”四字，下缘为“当制钱壹佰文”字样，标明币值，左右饰以花星纹饰。铜币背面中央大圆圈内为一篆书“汉”字，“汉”字底有数十条横直纹，因而钱币收藏者也称之为“汉”字铜元。

  纪年仍镌“民国元年”。四川铜币五文亦有币背为篆书“汉”字加十八圈者存世。数量极少，当为其开铸时之样币，后未批量发行。“军政府造四川铜币”于1912年（民国元年）开铸之后，具有极典型的特色。“军政府造四川铜币”发行量较少，流通时间较短，现今存世量亦较少，集藏“军政府造四川铜币”，已经成为收藏家们眼中的热门币种。
