在辛亥反动推翻满清封建朝廷后的民国初年，由四川军政府铸造的银币和铜币，虽说，事先民国政府名义上一致了中国，但因政局混乱而各行其道，构成了新的军阀割据，且币制尚未完全一致，招致了步调一致并自行铸币的场面而屡见不鲜。这枚数量珍稀、珍藏等级的藏品，今后还有很大上升潜力。
由于古钱币正式流通前必须经过多道严格把关，因此出现错版的概率非常小。因错版在被发现后均会被及时更正，所以错版存量很少。错版藏品往往因错得福，在拍卖市场中拍出天价。虽然错版币备受收藏界推崇，但因其数量稀缺并未像古董那般形成固定的交易场所，也更增加了错版币的“神秘色彩”。
此枚藏品是中华民国“川”字版嘉禾图案的铜币，其面值200文。中心圆圈内套有一朵海棠花，花心中镌刻有一“川”字;反面以阿拉伯数字的“200”记值于四锐角之中。上铸“中华民国十五年”，下缘铸有“每枚当贰百文”。此钱币为错版，与原版相比错处在于背面图案向左旋转45度，极为罕见，收藏价值颇高。
