军政府造四川铜币”于1912年(民国元年)开铸之后，至1925年(民国14年)的十余年间，几乎从未间断其铸造。其币面值计有五文、十文、二十文、五十文等。

四川铜币军政府造的流通范围较窄，发行量与存世量都比较少。由于这个原因，接触四川铜币的人比较少，研究者更少。但这并不表示川洋的研究价值和市场价值不高，向来经济规律和收藏首要以“物以稀为贵”定律为标准。作为特殊历史时期、地方政权的特殊货币，是历史的产物，具有不可替代的文物价值，是历史的见证，因此，四川铜币的市场价值非常高.

四川铜币，它是由四川铜元钱币演变过来的，最早的铜元是清光绪二十八年(1902)，川督岑春煊始议铸造铜元。光绪二十九年(1903)六月，建立四川铜元局所铸铜元悉用紫铜,外观似黄铜，以致四川铜元成为全国铜元特点之一。四川是一个大清帝国人口最多的省份，宣布独立后，建立大汉四川军政府，四川军政府于民国元年废除龙纹大清铜币模式．改铸四川铜币军政府造。

此枚铜币面值是当制五十文，正面为“四川铜币”四字，中间有一枚海棠花，上文“军政府造”，下边为当制钱五十文，反面错位60度，看着像人为的，其实不然，是在铸造的过程当中形成的一个刚性错版，按说这么严重的错版币是不应该流通到民间来的，不知道当时出于一种什么样的情况而流通到民间来了，钱币的背面中间有一圈，圈内为篆文“汉”字，圈外还环绕有十八个小圈，很明显的因为错版的关系有两个小圈是缺失的，小圈上有“中华民国二年”六字。图案文字清晰、基本无磨损，表面平整光洁，边缘无明显撞击痕迹等，绝对算得上是错版币中之精品。本来四川铜币的全品相就比较少，而此类错版币在一定程度上控制了市场供货量，导致其价格快速走高。同时，四川铜币的价值也在同步上升。从藏家的接受程度看，预计后期四川铜币的价格还将继续上涨，

The face value of this copper coin is fifty Chinese characters, with the four characters "Sichuan copper coin" on the front and a Chinese flowering crabapple in the middle. The above is "made by the military government". The lower part is fifty Chinese characters, with the reverse side offset by 60 degrees. It looks like human-made. Actually, it is not. It is a rigid wrong plate formed during the casting process. It is supposed that such a serious wrong plate coin should not be circulated to the people. I do not know what kind of situation it was circulated to the people at that time. There is a circle in the middle of the back of the coin. Inside the circle are the characters "Han" in the seal script, and outside the circle there are 18 small circles. Obviously, because of the typographical relationship, two small circles are missing, with the six characters "Republic of China Year 2" on the small circle. The pattern and characters are clear, basically free from abrasion, the surface is smooth and clean, and the edge has no obvious impact marks. It is definitely a fine piece of typography. Originally, Sichuan copper coins had a relatively small overall appearance, but such misprints controlled the market supply to a certain extent, leading to a rapid rise in their prices. At the same time, the value of Sichuan copper coins is also rising at the same time. Judging from the acceptability of Tibetans, the price of Sichuan copper coins is expected to continue to rise in the later period. This misprint coin is of good quality, with natural paste, complete preservation and rather rare amount of deposit. It has high collection and historical research value.
