孔雀绿釉是一种瓷器釉色名，亦称“法翠釉”、“翡翠釉”、“吉翠釉” 。一种以铜为着色剂的低温色釉，起源于宋、元民窑，最早见于宋磁州窑。明成化时，景德镇窑烧制成熟。孔雀绿釉是瓷器中价值较高的品种，因其工艺精湛，釉色美艳，传世稀少，一直为收藏界所青睐。

绿釉最早见于汉代，从汉代的铅绿釉陶开始，低温绿釉的烧制一直都没有间断过，宋代的磁州窑和定窑等都有烧造，定窑所烧的绿釉被称为“绿定”，弥足珍贵。金代扒村窑和元代磁州窑都有绿釉釉下彩褐彩的制作。元代景德镇在优质的瓷胎上烧制成了孔雀绿釉釉下青花的新品种。明代的绿釉以孔雀绿色釉为主，早期有呈色似瓜皮的“瓜皮绿”，永乐年间有淡绿色釉。另据《南窑笔记》记载：“法蓝、法翠二色旧时为成化窑有，最佳。”这说明孔雀绿翡翠绿釉在明成化年间的烧制成功。
