布币是中国古代货币，因形状似铲，又称铲布。中国春秋战国时期流通于中原诸国的铲状铜币。铲状工具曾是民间交易的媒介，故最早出现的铸币铸成铲状布币可分为两大类，分别是 空首布与 平首布。其中空首布可分为 平肩弧足空首布，斜肩弧足空首布， 耸肩尖足空首布；平首布可分为 釿布， 锐角布， 方足布， 尖足布， 圆足布， 三孔布。

三孔布是中国古代钱币的一种。旧称“三窍布”。铸于战国晚期约公元前3世纪左右。形同圆首、圆肩、圆足、圆裆；独具的特征是：布首及两足各有一只圆孔，故称“三孔布”。面文多为地名，背文有纪重和纪值文字。分大、小二型，各布均以“两”、“朱”计重。大布通长5.5厘米，重8克上校，背文“十二朱”即半两。大小布值恰好为2：1。世传三孔布面文有：上尃、下尃、上苑（艾）、安阳、南行唐（鱼阳）、北九门、文雁乡、相、阿、妬邑等；1983年山西朔县又出土一枚仅见的“宋子”，计约15种左右。三孔布铸造精工，形制奇特，品相端美，传世及出土数量极微，中国古钱“五十珍”之一。

此件藏品为三孔币下邲阳背十七两，相传为春秋战国时期所铸，此币规格为：长：6.85cm，厚为1.95mm，重为：19.5g，本藏品为深黑色，通过高倍显微镜看：包浆自然，铜锈入胎，其品相绝佳，此币实属孤品，目前市面上极稀，据考察我国仅北京诚轩2012年秋拍卖发现一枚，再无发现，因此，此币实属难得，是广大收藏家及古币爱好者喜闻乐见的珍品。
