孙中山先生是伟大的民族英雄，中国民主革命的伟大先驱。他发起和领导的辛亥革命，彻底推翻了在中国持续2000多年的封建王朝统治。为了让世人铭记孙中山先生的丰功伟绩，在民国时期，铸造发行了镌有孙中山先生头像各种版式的银币。正面为孙中山像，背面镌一轮金光闪闪的太阳，中间为帆船在乘风破浪前进；1933年和1934年，民国铸造了正面镌孙中山像，背面镌一艘帆船乘风破浪前进，俗称“船洋”；1935年，民国中央造币厂又生产了一批孙中山像的银币；1949年3月，民国中央造币厂铸造了最后一批民国二十三年版正面镌孙中山像，背面镌帆船图案的壹圆银币。

　　藏品简介：此枚“民国二十三年壹圆双帆币”重约28g直径为4cm正面镌刻孙中山先生侧面头像，上方镌“中华民国二十三年”，背面镌双桅帆船在乘风破浪前进，左右分列“壹圆”币值。此钱币饱含沧桑之感，锈迹斑斑反而不会让人觉 得陈旧，我们依然可以看出这对钱币的银质斑驳苍古的“包浆”，是自然形成的“时间的轨迹”之再现，所以在民国二十三年时，以孙中山头像为图案的银币流通于当时的市场之中的非常之少，显得珍贵，极具价值。
