民国开国纪念币是一种银质纪念币,发行于1912至1927年。正面刻孙中山半身像,上缘为"中华民国开国纪念币",背面为嘉禾图围绕"壹圆"二字,有民国十五年、十六年、十八年及陵墓、地球、无年号、嘉禾等版别。

The commemorative coin of the founding of the Republic of China is a kind of silver commemorative coin, which was issued from 1912 to 1927. On the front is a bust of Sun Yat Sen, with the upper margin of "the XX year of the Republic of China", and the back is a picture of Jiahe. Around the word "one circle", there are editions of the 15th, 16th and 18th years of the Republic of China, as well as the tomb, earth, no year number and Jiahe.

The commemorative coin of the founding of the Republic of China is one yuan / sun xiaotou, 39 mm in diameter, 2.5 mm in thickness, and 26.95 g in weight. It is in good condition with clear pictures and texts. There are two versions of this commemorative coin: one is made in 1912 and the other is in 1927. If there are two five pointed stars on the back, it is called "upper five pointed star"; if two hexagonal stars are printed on the back, it is called "upper hexagon".

民国十六年北伐战争胜利,国民政府定都南京,南京造币厂先取原模,重铸孙中山开国纪念币,后又改动币背面的英文和花边(六角星),铸成新版,批量发行,俗称"小头"。此后四年孙中山开国纪念币铸量不下数十亿,与"袁大头"一起成为旧中国的主要流通货币。

After the victory of the northern expedition in the 16th year of the Republic of China, the capital of Nanjing was set by the national government. The Nanjing Mint first took the original model and recast Sun Yat Sen's founding commemorative coins, and then changed the English and lace on the back of the coin to make a new edition and issue it in batch, commonly known as "xiaotou". In the following four years, the amount of commemorative coins of Sun Yat Sen's founding was no less than billions, and became the main currency of old China together with "yuan Datou".

"小头"正面刻孙中山半身像,上缘为"中华民国",背面为嘉禾图围绕"壹圆"二字,有民国十五年、十六年、十八年及陵墓、地球、无年号、嘉禾等版别。其中孙中山陵墓币铸于1927年,南京国民政府为纪念建造中山陵,铸造陵墓纪念银币和纪念铜牌。据传该币仅铸480枚,分赠党政要员和护送灵柩人员,此币为意大利造币公司雕刻,正面为孙中山正面像,上有"中华民国国民政府"八字,背面中为"一元",下书"十六年造"左为旭日青松,右为中山陵寝殿。 重铸旧币的同时,国民政府也在加紧赶制新国币。

In 1927, bronze coins were made to commemorate the tomb of Sun Yat sen in Nanjing. It is said that there were only 480 pieces of the coin, which were distributed to Party and government officials and coffin escorts. The coin was carved by the Italian Mint Company. On the front, there was a portrait of Sun Yat Sen, with the eight characters of "the national government of the Republic of China" on the front, and "one yuan" in the middle of the back. The next one was "made in sixteen years" with the sun rising on the left and the burial Hall of Zhongshan Mausoleum on the right. At the same time, the national government also stepped up efforts to catch up with the new currency.
