宝福局咸丰重宝内计重五两一百文，清咸丰年宝福局铸币。此钱是为宝福局遗存罕少的珍贵品种之一，亦是清代珍泉之一，实物难得一见。

清代宝福局铸钱多有创意，钱式特别且铸工讲究，尤其是计重钱，用铜料足，不拘一格，铸制精整，钱文端美。长期以来，乃为泉家最喜爱的清钱之一。在现当代诸泉谱中，宝福局的铸币因其铸制精整，钱文端美，且式样多种大而厚重而一向得泉家推崇。其计重钱有两种，一是边（缘）计重，二是内（肉）计重。其中，内记重式较之边计重式更为珍贵，是宝福局计重钱的骄子钱。今日上博展赏的，是一品宝福局咸丰重宝背缘纪重钱。其当值一百，内边铸刻"计重五两"。此式钱，较之缘计重钱而言，遗存要少，属于相对更为珍贵的宝福局纪重大钱。

从品相察之，可知此钱曾有入坑窖藏之经历。其黄铜材质，锈满全身，层次分明，犹如披挂甲胄，硬锈叠嶂，可抗刃击。此自然天成之锈，已致大开其门，莽莽武夷山脉直入眼底。
