青白釉瓷是我国宋代时期烧造的瓷器品种之一。它以釉色介于青、白之间，青中有白、白中闪青而得名。晚清称为“影青”、“映青”等。宋代文献仅见青白瓷一名，无影青之称。晚清至民国有“隐青”、“映青”、“印青”等名称。如许之衡《饮流斋说瓷》“素瓷甚薄，雕花纹而映出青色者谓之影青”。宋代烧造青白釉瓷的瓷窑较多，而以江西省景德镇窑所烧造的青白釉瓷器最佳，无论数量、质量、造型、釉色都无可相比，集中地代表了南方青白瓷系的最高水平。

据考古资料分析，景德镇窑五代时始烧青瓷和白瓷，质地较为粗糙。宋代改烧青白瓷，以质地精良、产量巨大崭露头角。青白瓷在釉色上接近南方越窑青瓷的风格，而在造型和装饰上却又大量地吸取了北方定窑的特色。因此说，它是集“南青北白”之大成。青白瓷一直享誉海内外。半个世纪以来，特别是近十几年来，在亚非一些国家遗址中陆续出土了一定数量的我国宋元时期的青白瓷，如日本、南朝鲜、菲律宾、马来西亚、巴基斯坦、埃及等地都出土过青白瓷，说明在我国宋代青白瓷贸易是十分发达的。
