中山陵纪念币由维也纳造币厂总雕刻师普拉特操刀雕刻模具,并由南京造币厂试制。该币采用浅浮雕手法制模,人物面像栩栩如生,双眼炯炯有神。币面镌“孙中山先生”正面肖像;上缘从右至左环镌“中华民国国民政府”八字;币背面左边镌“两松柏掩映落日霞光”;右边镌“陵墓”纹饰;中竖镌币值“壹圆”二字;下缘镌“十六年造”四字。此版币从陵园背景纹饰构图看,充分表达了“孙中山”先生“虽死犹存,永垂不朽”之意。此枚钱币重26.1g 直径3.9cm包浆老厚 品相完好。据1935年环球邮币公司出版的《中国稀见币参考书》记载该币当年的铸造量仅100枚,如今这类银质样币的收藏价值极高。

This edition of the coin, viewed from the background decoration composition of the cemetery, fully expresses the meaning of Mr. Sun Yat-sen's "death is still alive and immortal." This coin weighs 26.1 g in diameter and has a good quality of 3.9 cm. According to the "China Rare Coin Reference Book" published by Universal Mail in 1935, only 100 coins were minted in that year.
