中华即拍 光绪元宝江南省造甲辰每元当制钱十文

光绪二十二年(1896年)正月,江南总督(辖江苏、安徽、江西等地)刘坤一,以“因制钱缺乏,不敷周转,洋元行销,利权外益”为由,上奏朝廷,获准在江南设局铸造银元,遂拨款向英国和德国购置造币设备,在南京西水关内云台闸南岸,沿河收买基地,绘图兴建厂房。次年6月,刘世芳受命带领工人去湖北银元局学习造币技术,并招募造币工人。10月初,厂房全部竣工,建成东西两个厂,东厂铸造银元,西厂则专铸制钱,设“江南铸造银元制钱总局”,管理两厂的日常事务。同年10月28日,东厂铸造大小不等的五种无纪年“光绪元宝”银元。此后依次开铸戊戌、己亥、庚子、辛丑、壬寅、癸卯、甲辰、乙巳等干支纪年银元。

He was allowed to set up a bureau in Jiangnan to cast silver dollars. Therefore, he appropriated money to purchase money making equipment from Britain and Germany, and built factories in the South Bank of Yuntai gate in xishuiguan, Nanjing. In June of the following year, Liu Shifang was ordered to take the workers to Hubei silver dollar bureau to study the coinage technology and recruit the coinage workers. At the beginning of October, all the factories were completed, and two factories were built. The East factory made silver coins, while the West Factory made silver coins. A "Jiangnan General Bureau of making silver coins" was set up to manage the daily affairs of the two factories. On October 28 of the same year, five silver coins of different sizes were cast in Dongchang. After that, silver coins were successively cast in Wuxu, Qihai, gengzi, xinchou, renyin, guimao, Jiachen and Yisi.

正面中间是“光绪元宝”中心有两个满文，上方铭文为“江南省造”，下方为“每元当制钱十文”，在“江南省造”的两边，右“甲”左“辰”是记年。中间的珠圈由99个小点组成。背面，中间是一条飞龙，上方为英文，左右各一个玫瑰花饰，中间的珠圈由小点组成。此枚光绪元宝江南省造甲辰每元当制钱十文下方缘英文面值，品相佳，包浆明显。甚是罕见，值得珍藏。

There are two Manchu characters in the center of "Guangxu Yuanbao" in the middle of the obverse. The inscription on the top is "made in Jiangnan province" and on the bottom is "made in ten characters per yuan". On both sides of "made in Jiangnan province", the right "a" and the left "Chen" are year records. The middle bead consists of 99 dots. On the back, there is a flying dragon in the middle. The upper part is in English. There is a rose ornament on the left and right. The bead circle in the middle is composed of small dots. This piece of Guangxu Yuanbao is made in Jiangnan province. 正面甲字双开口，就是“甲”字的第一笔和第二笔不相连，有一个较大的开口。“甲”字的口中一横比较短，不和口字的两边相连，也称开口。“辰”字的一捺，由细到粗，顺畅到底。背面珠圈由109个小点组成,中心细长七尾飞龙,龙尾后面有圆形云彩。这是一个新设计的背面，龙也是一条新设计的龙。
