光绪元宝，清朝光绪年间流通的货币之一。由两广总督张之洞率先引进英国铸币机器铸造银元和铜元，之后各省纷纷仿效。共有十九个省局铸造，除中央户部，地方省所铸铜元，皆在其正面上缘镌省名。最早是有当时的两广总督张之洞在英国引进造币机铸造的。光绪元宝是大清光绪年流通大面值。货币之首，是我国首批引进海外技术的印发流通货币，对于现今也蕴藏了一定历史意义。

光绪元宝“户部”当制钱二十文钱币。正面珠圈内铸汉文“光绪元宝”四字，上环满文，下环书“当制钱二十文”，左右分列“户”、“部”与梅花星点；背面为蟠龙图，上下环铸英文计值。字迹深刻镌秀，龙纹雕刻精美。包浆浑厚老道，沁色自然，充满岁月之痕迹与浓浓的历史沉淀感，收藏价值极高。 

The "Hubu" of Guangxu Yuanbao should make 20 Wen coins. On the front side, there are four characters of "Guangxu Yuanbao" in Chinese, with Manchu characters on the upper ring and twenty pieces of money making on the lower ring, with "Hu", "bu" and plum blossom star dots on the left and right; on the back is a picture of a dragon with English values cast on the upper and lower rings. The handwriting is deeply engraved and the dragon pattern is exquisite. It is rich and old-fashioned, natural, full of traces of years and a strong sense of historical precipitation. It is of high collection value.
