此枚钱币是陕西省造光绪元宝库平一两，币正面铸有铭文,以珠圈分区,珠圈内直读“光绪元宝”,币心四个字符为满文,珠圈外上端环有“陕西省造”,底部环货币价值“库平一两”字样,左右两侧各分列一朵六瓣花。钱币背面钱币背面中央铸蟠龙图,外围上端有“SHEN-SI PROVINCE”英文字样,下端为“ONE TAEL”英文字样,左右两侧分铸六瓣花,与正面相呼应。因钱币背面龙纹独具特色,故又有龙洋之称,其龙纹威武霸气,神龙腾云驾雾,翱翔天际,既展现出当时工艺之精湛,更彰显了满清皇族的神圣不可侵犯,极富寓意。
