童友明，新中国培养的造币设计雕刻大师，现代造币雕刻奠基人之一，中国印钞造币总公司上海造币有限公司高级工艺美术师；退休后长期受聘于南京造币有限公司任艺术顾问。1962年毕业于上海美术专科学校后，一直在上海造币厂（有限公司）从事钱币设计雕刻工作，曾先后于1987年和2000年在上海油画院、意大利罗马造币雕刻造币学校和法国巴黎进修深造。
