而这些钱币的铸造量以及朝代所统治的时间长短，从而决定了流通量的大小，流通时间短的钱币，自然而然存世量也少，加上时间推移，流离流转，损坏遗失，甚至罕见，而进入到收藏界。收藏家一直讲究的原则是--物以稀为贵，这种钱币会变得更加珍奇，其价值也更加高。

1911年，辛亥革命胜利，中华民国宣告成立，结束了清王朝267年的统治。四川军政府成立之初面临财政窘迫的局面，因而迅速接管了四川成都造币厂，决定铸造“四川铜币”应急，也称“汉”字铜元。民国元年，四川军政府命令四川成都造币厂开模制造了“军政府造”四川铜币。

In 1911, with the victory of the Revolution of 1911, the Republic of China was proclaimed, ending the 267-year rule of the Qing Dynasty. At the beginning of its establishment, Sichuan military government faced financial distress, so it quickly took over the Mint in Chengdu, Sichuan, and decided to cast "Sichuan Copper Coin", also known as "Han" copper coin. In the first year of the Republic of China, the Sichuan military government ordered the Chengdu Mint in Sichuan to mold and manufacture Sichuan copper coins made by the military government.

开铸之初仅发行十文、二十文两种钱币。同年5月，又添铸当一种，当年计铸十文铜元6055万余枚，二十文铜元1247万余枚，五十文铜元935万余枚。民国2年，除继续铸造十文、二十文、五十文铜元之外，又增铸重五钱八分的一百文铜元，是当时铸造最少的。

这枚铜币就是“军政府造”当制钱壹百文四川铜币，钱币品相完好，包浆醇厚，锈色自然，不论是文字还是图案，都显得自然细腻，深浅合适，很有立体感。正面中书“四川铜币”四字，其铜字的金旁连书四画。中心作盛开海棠花，上边为“军政府造”四字，下边为币值“当制钱壹百文”六字；背面用十八小圈绕一大圈，代表当时的18个省份，圈内篆文“汉”字，代表了新政府“大汉”的意思，寓意十八省份团结起来共同为“驱逐鞑虏，恢复中华”而战斗，以直线纹为底；上边铸“中华民国二年”字样，两侧各有一个四星花瓣。

The inscription "Han" in the circle represents the meaning of the new government "Dahan", which means that the 18 provinces unite to fight for "expelling the monks and restoring China", with straight lines as the bottom; The words "two years of the Republic of China" are cast on it, with a four-star petal on each side.
